Our world-famous taquitos with avocado sauce are available for local delivery and nationwide shipping.
A quick note before you order:
Taquitos are best when they’re hot from the pan — but with a little reheating, you can get close. Follow our serving tips below for that perfect crunch and creamy sauce.
Order for Home Preparation
We offer our taquitos raw — ready for you to fry fresh at home and enjoy the same way they’ve been made on Olvera Street since 1934. Shipped nationwide through Goldbelly, these kits let you bring a taste of Cielito Lindo to your own kitchen.
For best results, store taquitos in the refrigerator or freezer until ready to cook, then fry until golden brown and serve immediately with our signature avocado sauce.
We also offer raw taquitos by the dozen — available both at the stand and for local delivery.
Frying Tips from Olvera Street
For the best results, fry your taquitos the same way we’ve done it for generations:
Choose your oil: Vegetable or avocado oil works best.
Fill your pan: Add enough oil to cover about half the taquito.
Heat it up: Bring the oil to medium-high heat — hot enough to sizzle, but not smoke.
Start tortilla side down: Place taquitos with the tortilla edge down to prevent unraveling.
Fry evenly: Cook for about 5 minutes until golden brown on the first side, then flip for 1–2 minutes to crisp the other side without over-browning.
Drain & season: Remove from the pan and place on a paper towel–lined plate. Let the oil drip off and salt to your taste.
Serve immediately: Warm up your avocado sauce, pour it into a cup, and dip your taquitos while they’re still hot.
Best enjoyed right away — fresh, crispy, and drenched in sauce, just like at the stand.

Reheating & Serving Tips
Cielito Lindo is best enjoyed the way it’s been served since 1934 — fresh, hot, and drenched in sauce.
But if you’re ordering for later, here’s how to bring them back to life:
Reheat in the oven or air fryer at 375°F for 8-10 minutes until crisp.
Warm your avocado sauce gently on the stove — never boil. Or, if you’re in a hurry, warm it up in the microwave for about 30-45 seconds, depending on your preference.
Serve the taquitos over a lake of beans and melted cheese (just how it’s done on Olvera Street).
Drench generously in avocado sauce.
Enjoy immediately — preferably with friends, laughter, and a bit of history.
